The French Press
If you love the French press and have carefully wrapped your glass model in your fleece jacket only to find it shattered after that log jumped up under your feet out of nowhere then you'll be threilled with our Java Press.
Pick the Personal Java Press, if you are a solo traveller or get the 30 or 50 ounce model and your friends will volunteer to do the dishes after breakfast every time!
And just so you can impress them with your knowledge, the French Press was most likely invented in France around 1850 but patented by Italian Attilio Calimani in 1931.
The German Filter
Melitta Bentz's search for the perfect coffee led to the invention and then patent of the "Melitta" filter and paper system in 1908. Now you can enjoy this delicious brew on the trail with our insulated coffee pot and flexible rubber filter system.
The Italian Espresso
Looking for a fast way to make coffee? The the espresso or moka pot is your method of choice. Patented by Italian manufacturer Luigi Bezzera in 1901.
These early machines had a few design faults and getting the best flavour was a challenge. A stove top version or "Moka" was invented by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933.
Now you have your choice of a four person on single shot camp stove models in either classic aluminum or stainless steel. You can have a single shot of espresso in 90 seconds or so depending on your altitude with one of our perfect little espresso mini's!
Classic American Percolator
And if you are just the campfire type and all other styles of coffee just don't turn your crank then there is the classic American percolator invented by James Mason in 1865. We have a great stainless steel or classic enamelware percolators to statisy your campfire tastes.
Coffee For All Passions!
When it comes to coffee we have it all. Everyone has a personal preference. Of course some folks still prefer good old "hobo" or "cowboy" coffee and yes our campcooking pots will boil your water to perfection, but if you'd rather not have coffee grounds to munch on then you may prefer a different approach.
